Software-almost-works

Your software does 80%. What runs the other 20%?

The bit your team does by hand, every time, because the software stops short.

Send us the messy version. We’ll tell you honestly whether it is worth fixing.

You’ll recognise this

The work around the software.

  • You export a report to tidy it in a spreadsheet.
  • You re-key enquiries from a form into the system.
  • You email someone, then chase them.
  • You copy between two systems that do not talk.
  • There is one person who does the workaround.
  • Everyone knows one step is dumb.
Four honest answers

Build is not the automatic answer.

Sometimes the most useful thing we can say is: leave it alone.

Use it

Use the integration that already exists.

The right answer may already be in the software.

Connect

Use a tool you already pay for.

Zapier, Make or Power Automate may fill the gap.

Fill the gap

Build a small tailored piece.

Only where the gap is worth a contained fix.

Leave it

Leave it alone.

Some workarounds are not worth fixing.

How it works

One problem. One fix.

We start with the real work, not a technology preference.

01
Send the mess

Screenshots, a form, report or rough description.

02
We qualify

We say no if it is not worth solving.

03
We understand it

People, rules, exceptions and baseline.

04
One bounded fix

Agreed scope and fixed price.

05
Measure and report

No baseline, no claim.

What we ask you

Show us the gap.

A screenshot or a two-line description is enough — no upload needed.

  1. Which software is involved?
  2. What does the manual step actually do?
  3. How often does it happen and who does it?
  4. What goes wrong when it's late or wrong?
  5. What has made this worth fixing now?
  6. Who can approve the work?
Run it your way

You choose the operating model.

Hosting with us or on your infrastructure: your choice.

What the first engagement looks like

Start with one process.

  1. A 20-minute conversation about one process — free and bounded.
  2. If it needs proper diagnosis, we say so and price that separately.
  3. One contained fix at a fixed price agreed before we start, with testing, handover and a defined defect-support period.

If the problem is clear enough to quote responsibly, we quote it. We don't sell you discovery you don't need.

What you own afterwards

No difficult exit.

You own the solution and your data.

Hosting with us or on your infrastructure: your choice.

Any third-party subscription costs are named up front.

Who maintains it, what support includes and how leaving works are written down.

Who does the work

Tufi, founder of Fruition Solutions.

Tufi diagnoses the problem, designs the fix and builds it. The founder capability example below shows the kind of manual administration process that can become a working system; it is not a client result.

What we won’t do

Custom for custom’s sake.

We will not build custom software when an off-the-shelf tool does the job properly.

What we won’t do

Sell you a platform.

We solve the problem in front of us, not a generic platform.

What we won’t do

Make up a win.

We will not claim a result we have not measured.
